The City of Menifee selected Travis Hickey, CPA as its new Chief Financial Officer thanks to help from TS Talent Solutions. Hickey comes to the City of Menifee from the City of Santa Fe Springs where he has served since 2011, spending the last five years as the Director of Finance and Administrative Services. Hickey brings a wealth of experience to his new role with 26 years of experience: 14 years in the private sector and 12 years working for local government.
When the City launched its search for a new Chief Financial Officer, the City obtained proposals for recruiting services to ensure the net for talent was cast far and wide to gather a broad pool of diverse candidates. The City wanted to find a candidate who could lead and motivate a creative Finance Department and support projects related to the City’s ongoing economic development and substantial infrastructure needs. TS Talent Solutions was selected by City Staff because of the firm’s high quality marketing approach and boutique client-service approach.

There were 31 applicants for the CFO position, a particularly high number for a difficult to fill finance role.
