The City of Paramount held a goal-setting workshop facilitated by Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions, bringing together Councilmembers and members of the City’s executive leadership to outline priorities that will guide the City’s work in the years ahead.
In January 2026, Mike Egan led an in-depth session with the support from Sofia Gonzalez. He guided a discussion of the community’s most pressing needs and future opportunities. The session focused on identifying priorities in public safety, infrastructure and communication.
“The City of Paramount is committed to being responsive, strategic and forward-looking,” said City Manager John Moreno. “With the support and guidance of Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions and Mike’s leadership throughout the process, we were able to thoughtfully identify priorities that will help the City remain safe, thriving and well-prepared for the future. Our City Council is always looking to the horizon to improve our community and the services of the City.”
Feedback from this session was distilled into a set of overarching goals and expanded objectives, resulting in the 2026 Goal Setting Report adopted by the City Council. The report outlines essential, important and value-added goals that focus on enhancing public safety, advancing key infrastructure projects and communications with residents.
“Goal setting is an essential step in ensuring the City uses its resources efficiently while addressing the needs of the community,” said Mike Egan. “Paramount’s leadership has taken a proactive approach, establishing clear priorities that will guide the City’s future.”
