The City of Rancho Cucamonga partnered with Tripepi Smith Talent Solutions (TSTS) to assist in the recruitment of its next Director of Innovation and Technology. After a successful recruitment process, the City is excited to welcome Behrang Abadi to the team.

Behrang Abadi brings 20 years of experience in civic technology, organizational leadership and IT strategy, with a proven track record of driving innovation and delivering solutions in the public sector. Before joining the City of Rancho Cucamonga, Abadi served as the Digital Services Manager for the City of Long Beach, where he led a team of 35 technology professionals, managed an $8.5 million budget and spearheaded a citywide digital transformation and modernization effort. He holds a Master of Science degree in Management and Leadership from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from National University.

Executive Recruiter Christine Martin led the recruitment, with support from Senior Recruitment Coordinator Kylie Sun, Recruitment Coordinator Morgan Teruel and Assistant Recruitment Coordinator Sofia Gonzalez.
