Deputy District Attorney III/IV

You’ll play a pivotal role in the pursuit of justice by handling challenging and complex legal matters, including the preparation, presentation and prosecution of criminal or civil cases in court before a jury. Deputy District Attorney III 

Starting Salary $127,982.40 Annually (Plus a retention bonus up to $5,000) 

Deputy District Attorney III is the full journey level in the Deputy District Attorney classification series. Incumbents are expected to prosecute the full range of cases occurring within the District Attorney’s Office with a minimum of direction. 

Deputy District Attorney IV

Starting Salary $141,377.60 Annually (Plus a retention bonus up to $5,000) 

Deputy District Attorney IV is the highest level in the Deputy District Attorney classification series. Incumbents are expected to prosecute the full range of cases tried before the Superior Court as well as any occurring within the District Attorney’s Office with a minimum of direction including prosecution of the most complex, difficult and serious felony cases.
